Don’t know if it’s a nervous reaction/defensive mechanism kinda thing but wish Chapman would stop smirking whenever he has a bad outing

P.S. Chapman’s my boy I’m just saying

Great run we are having, but come playoff time, is Chapman really gonna be the closer? Dude has been Shakey as hell for like 2 months now :{

Yes. Chapman is the closer. He was really good for the majority of the last 2 months before he got COVID.

Since the Mets outing on July 4th which capped a career worst 10 games (including last night which was after a 2 weeks layoff).

12 games 11.2 innings 7SVs 1.54ERA 6h 9bb 2ER 20Ks

Chapman didn't have Covid. He had an elbow issue. But yea he's been super streaky. He's been dominant at times and then a BP pitcher at times.

Ahhh elbow. With all the COVID who can keep track.

It’s a 1 month where he was an issue. Before and since then has been great. And there’s no way he can ever be as bad as he was from June through July 4th. He had a 4.00WHIP. It’s unprecedented
