Trevino & Wells have been pretty good from the catcher spot collectively.

Outside of that, just terrible.


Just a huge void of having a 3rd through 6th best hitter. Gleyber/Catcher Combo/Volpe is fine for 7-9 whatever order.

I'm not too down long term, but the collective ****tiness of Rizzo and DJ/Oswaldo/Berti is just egregious.

A **** year from Gleyber is 18 points less than 2B OPS average
Volpe 37 off SS OPS average
(You get on a hot streak for a week, and you could close the gap a decent percentage)

But these two guys....
Rizzo is 85 points less
DJ is 196 points less

Going to have to commit a $6mil buyout and send all $30mil out to get rid of DJ
