Looks tacky IMO, the patch on the jersey is enough.
I have to agree. It's huge and looks rather obnoxious, although I do like how they incorporated the MLB logo into the design. I actually kindof like that better than the current jersey patches.

There are roughly 600 obstructed view bleacher seats at the new Stadium thanks to the genius move of plunking a restaurant right in the middle of the seats.
These seats, once $12, are now $5. The other bit of good news is that there will be screens on the side of the restaurant, so you'll be able to follow the ball that way once you lose sight of it.
For $5 I'll take partially obstructed
For the price of 2 games in the $12 seats you could go to 5 games (+ $1) in the partially obstructed seats.
