It would take eight innings of complete shutdown baseball by a starter and a beyond great offensive night by one guy to overcome that. Two men can completely change the mindset. One pitcher, one hitter. Pitch eight innings of four-hit ball. Hit two home runs, drive in four. Simple. 

So why has it taken five years to do that?
