I dont really get this criticism of it. Had she not been in the story I would have had a huge problem with it because of the HUGE role that she played in Wolverine Vol 1. Her, and Lady Viper were the two biggest elements in that arc aside from Wolverine himself imo

This is nothing new at all though.
Most projects shown at Comic-Con are already pretty much generally known and reported already. Like everyone knows there will be a MoS sequel but the surprise was Batman would be in it, everyone knows there will be an Avengers sequel but the big surprise is that the villain will be Ultron.
Their surprises tends to come with huge new casting or trailers, they need to hype it up before the film comes out like TASM2 coming out in June when Comic-Con is usually in July ( and like Apocalypse announcement hyping up DoFP) or just simply get people more and more excited about Comic Con.
Plus it does it really matter when and how it is announced? Unless you are there live in person at ComicCon, I don't think it'll make a big difference.

I just got to say, it is great to be a comic book fan right now isn't it? Hate them or love them but it is simply great to see these films on the big screen.
Marvel with the Avengers and their individual films, then even introducing lesser known heroes like GotG and making the Defenders on Netflix.
Fox with a new XMen that leads to Apocalypse, Deadpool, XForce and maybe even a Fantastic Four meet-up?
Sony expanding Spidey-verse to Venom and Sinister 6, which actually focuses on those villains.
DC/WB, even with their cluttered and unsettling method of going about their films is still exciting, it is great to finally see them expand to create a world for the JLA to exist.
And all seems to be taking the Marvel route of simply planning everything ahead of time so that we do not end up with a inconsistent mess like the current X-films.

Absolutely agree with RFX. I keep a list of movies that are upcoming and am all the way out til like 2018 with some of these movies, sequels, spinoffs, etc. I'm loving the direction everyone is taking. Not to say there haven't been mistakes along the way, but having all these films come out year after year, even with mistakes, is better than nothing coming out at all.
As everyone knows, there was a time that comic book movies were viewed as wastes of time and would never be mainstream in hollywood. Well.....now mainstream hollywood is beating down doors to portray these very characters. And will continue to do so for at LEAST the next 7-10 years.

Watching the avengers cartoon on netflix, this joint is dope!!!!!....can't believe they didn't think to use wasp, any man and black panther sooner....they are very dope.

Hank Pym is a huge part of the avengers, why havent they focused on his character?....i like his chemistry with Stark and the rest of the team in the cartoon and dude is the smartest of them all, makes Stark sound like a pre-schooler, so is Paul Rudd confirmed to play him?....and Rashida Jones confirmed for Wasp, after watching the cartoon they'll actually be great fits for the roles.

Watching the golden era late 80s, early 90s cartoons like Spiderman and X-Men on Satuday morning;
And especially after the disappointing way that comic movies started out; it is really gratifying to see some of the massive world that comic books create,
come alive on the big screen in a way where I can believe it, and lose myself in it, if only for a few hours.

they're focusing on making an individual Ant Man movie, so I guess they figured they would let that take precedence instead of inserting extraneous characters. I have to believe that he'll be in the next movie since its supposed to be about Ultron
