News On Future Films Based on Comics/Paranormal/Sci-Fi

quick rundown as to why it wouldnt work?

It basically came down to size and power. The grappling gun is about the size of a gun of some sort, small enough to clip onto a belt at least. Well at that size no motor can lift a human being fast enough to be useful of even at all. They then began to just make one at any size and still anything portable would never be strong enough to work. Not to mention the method in which you'd reuse it. It'd take 20 mins to unhook the thing from whatever you attached it to

I try not to do the rumors/gossiping but this was interesting.

Rumoured image of Ben Affleck's Batman surfaces

Batman vs. Superman has begun shooting in Metamora Township, Michigan. Residents of the town have confirmed that filming is currently taking place on the Caley Road area, although it's unknown at this point whether any major cast members are involved.

Meanwhile, we may (emphasis on may) have finally got our first look at Ben Affleck as Batman, with an incredibly grainy photo having leaked over on the IMDb forums. It’s highly unlikely that Warner Bros. would allow for this to be released in such a fashion, so we can presume it’s nothing but fan art. However, it’s still pretty awesome, with the rumours of Jim Lee inspiring this current Batman incredibly evident...

That is pretty dope if it's legit. Ben Affleck isn't what worries me about the DC movies. He's more than acknowledged his past mistakes and he's been killing it recently with stuff like The Town and Argo.

Can't say I have the same confidence in some of the other casting choices.

Some are saying it is fake and have been around for a while.

But it kind of make sense from the reports that the movie suit was based on the Noel suit.

it was also reported that the suit is also based on Jim Lees designs and he's always drawn bats with shorter ears.

Apparently they just started filming late last week, not sure if Afflecks is there now, don't think so but a Batsuit pic should leak out soon if not an official one.

True. I'm kinda hoping it's the same with what happened to Spidey where Goblin pics leaked and they just decided to release official pics but with them just starting filming, I doubt there's even any promo images anywhere near ready.

I think they do, Kevin Smith said the pics he saw were of Affleck actually wearing them and another pic was with Supes in the back in like a rooftop iirc.

I'm thinking they'll put out like a Selina Kyle in a Batpod promo pic and just surprise people.

Also on the XMen front, Jackman twitter thanking GMA for a March 24th surprise about DofP. I didn't see the show and have no clue what it means but I've been searching the new outlets and no news on it yet. Curious if it's a new trailer.

What was great about Argo? Please. Another movie like Gravity that was pushed by industry hype.

Terry Crew for Luke Cage!

"Anything can happen. All I know is scheduling and all that stuff—anything can happen. I’m open to all kinds of things, but who knows? Actually I took myself out of the Luke Cage running a while back, just because it was people trying to put people against each other.

[It was] Idris vs. Michael Jai and I’m like, ‘Wait a minute, this is not even greenlit! Can we talk to Marvel? Why are you talking to me? Don’t put me against my homeboy for a movie that’s not existing.’ I said, ‘Take me out!’

I heard [it’s greenlit] but I haven’t gotten any calls. I’ve been hearing stuff like, ‘oh you’re too old,’ and I’m like, ‘Man do my workout 20 years ago and we’ll talk about who’s too old (laughs).’ Like I said, anything can happen, I never rule anything out. I’m game. There are no rules. What’s up, Marvel? I’m right here, baby. I ain’t goin nowhere. You know where I live!"

DO IT MARVEL!!!!

He was my top pick for Luke Cage but he said he didnt want to do it and superhero movies are crap now he is saying he is game and doesnt want to compete with his dude :x

Rhino only in the film for 4 mins. Praise Odin. Nobody wanted to see that ****. That made me at least 300x more excited to see the movie

I love that they are not softening her up. I know you guys hate her but I hope she has a bigger role in Avengers flicks going forward

Dude is british? How am I the only one who can't imitate an American accent?

Half of the actors that play americans nowadays are from somewhere with a heavy accent. And they do it (for the most part) FLAWLESSLY... but can we do a proper accent... nope :{

I think Terry Crew would be a terrible luke cage, dude is too old and I don't think can pull off the sort of understated sarcasm luke cage has.

That makes me think he's just going to a obliguitory "large strong guy LOOK AT HIS MUCLES LOOK AT HIM BREAK THINGS." characters.

Really depends who we're talking about here as far as accents go.

I feel he's too old too.

Haven't really seen him anything which shows he has range. He can do funny, sad, etc. but I haven't seen much from him that layered or complicated.

Not sure I even want Luke Cage to be THAT large on screen just needs the muscles defined if it gets to the nitpicking part of who gets cast.

Kind of funny that you guys call him old when he is 45 while RDJ is 48 and Rudd is 44. Also funny that in other forums they are saying he is too old and then suggest MJW but dude is also 46.

Acting chops, yeah I agree, dude hasn't proven himself but I don't think he is the worst choice out there. I don't know, for some reason I just want to see dude go on to do big things.

I love Terry Crews, but Michael Jai White has always been my choice because he's a big dude who actually has a background in action and martial arts. Terry Crews is more of a fitness and body building guy who does more slapstick and silly comedy. Not that Luke needs to be pulling off Tony Jaa moves. I'm a little more concerned about who they cast as Danny.
