I've been getting Black Hammer and all of the spin-off books since day one. It's one of my favorite comics. Never thought it would get adapted. That's nuts.

I think it has more to do with the 2nd movie being bad. People didn't have a problem with Crusie in the first Jack Reacher movie.

The creator thinks he's slick
Leads with Tom being too short and Reacher needing that physicality since in the books he's the size of NBA point guard but ain't say **** when Cruise was attscyrd for the films
What really happened is the sequel wasn't that good or did as well and there was little to no chance of a 3rd movie being made and was probably questionable if Tom would return.
Looking back in hindsight and compared to the sequel the first Jack Reacher was great.
Also another tidbit that isn't led with is he's taking the franchise to Netflix or something like it. Long form storytelling.
Tom Cruise wasn't going to do that.
Better hope they get a good tall actor to play Reacher. If not gonna end up with Lutz or Kitsch

oh yah, it was announced almost immediately
its capcoms best selling game to date now i think and i believe they accomplished that before it released on pc
its probably going to be resident evil level bad (it has ti and megan good) but i am there day 1

After kingsman 2 and the King Arthur movie, pretty let down with British stuff
