Jake Locker? cant be serious
“Everybody got their opinion,” Meriweather said. “He feel like I need to be kicked out of the league? You know, I feel like people who beat their girlfriends should be kicked out the league, too. So, you tell me who you’d rather have: Somebody who play aggressive on the field, or somebody who beat up their girlfriend? You know, everybody got their opinion, so that’s mine, that’s his.”
“To be honest, man, you’ve just got to go low now, man,” Meriweather said. “You’ve got to end people’s careers, you know? You’ve got to tear people’s ACLs and mess up people’s knees now. You can’t hit them high no more. You’ve just got to go low.”
Obviously in the realm of life in general a head/neck injury is worse than anything.
In the realm of football, a catastrophic injury is a catastrophic injury.
Tanne's not horrible when he has time to throw. Actually looks competent and sometimes very solid when he has protection. The problem is he panics with any type of pressure and looks very chaotic in the pocket.
Meriweather on tackling: “To be honest, man, you’ve just got to go low now, man. You’ve got to end people’s careers, you know? You’ve got to tear people’s ACLs and mess up people’s knees now. You can’t hit them high no more. You’ve just got to go low.”
Meriweather on brandon marshall: "He feel like I need to be kicked out of the league? I feel like people who beat their girlfriends should be kicked out, too. You tell me who you’d rather have: Somebody who play aggressive on the field, or somebody who beat up their girlfriend?"

I don't agree. If the cost of eliminating head and neck shots is more leg shots , it's obviously not ideal but I think you take that trade off.
No I agree with you. I could of explained my point better.
I meant that sounding like you are purposely going to be making an effort to catastrophically hurt someone's knee in football is no better than making an effort to catastrophically hurt someone up high. Obviously one is easier to recover from in life than the other, so I agree with you on the trade off and what I'd rather suffer.
What I meant was seriously hurting someone and potentially taking his career away by crushing his knee into pieces is just as bad in the sense that you're still taking food off of his families table.
Ending someone's lifelong hard work and career by crushing his knee is just as bad as crushing his brain with helmet to helmet hits.
They're both a blow to him and his family that would be hard to recover from.
But of course I'm sure anyone would rather spend the rest of their life recovering from a knee injury than a spinal cord one. I just meant that either way you taking a man who loves the game of football passionately, who has worked their whole life to be in the NFL, out of the league...will crush him no matter how you do it.
So did Rolando McClain and Mark Ingram.[quote name="Ballerific703" url="/t/345476/2013-nfl-season-discussion-thread-week-8/45450#post_18989788"]Is Dee Milliner that bad? He looked ok at Alabama but wow
