My one roommate in college rocked the white Falcons Vick jersey, all black fitted, baggy Sean John jeans and these Finishline style Nikes to match

It was his staple outfit every weekend to go out :lol

You would think a person such as yourself that had to be talked out of committing suicide a little more than a year ago would be a little bit more sympathetic to another person's problems in life.  If anything you should be hoping they sign up for those help group meetings that you still attend.

Why do you stay taking OD personal shots? C'mon man. :{ Beyond low.

Where's deuce king to condemn Aldon like he did Irsay?

I wrote this in the 49ers thread...............

"Aldon on the other hand is completely in the wrong, but he probably didn't understand why he got pulled to the side for an additional scanning.  Either way, it would have only been a 5 minute or less inconvenience but now this is going to cost him more than he realizes.  As an athlete, sometimes you just have to learn how to shut up and keep a low profile.  Dudes too hungry and thirty to be in the spotlight. "

deuce keepin it real.

You shock? I'm sure as hell not.

going at someone for feeling suicidal because a spoiled football player can't control himself time after time when he has access to all the help in the world

I mean the justification is he probably didn't understand why he was being pulled to the side; so in that case the response is "I have a bomb" :lol

Come on man, that's foul as hell. No matter how you feel about someone, bringing up personal issues like that is something a female would do to make a point

To you @JJs07 and to you @Proshares everyone always hears the gunshot , nobody ever sees the slap to the face.  I see nobody said anything about him calling Aldon Smith "Alcohol Smith" or him joking about the accusations against Colin, but it's all well and good because some of you dudes think it's funny or choose not to say anything.  Well not me.

At the end of the day, I meant exactly what I said about him as he is in no position to laugh at anyone for their problems or issues that they face, mainly for the very reason that I spoke on in that statement.  It would be one thing if he was hopeful that both Aldon or Kap get over their issues but to make light of it in the manner that HE did is completely wrong to me, especially given HIS past.  To me, its like who the hell are you to talk about someone when you just went threw something yourself.  There's a difference between a personal shot (which I didn't do) versus someone putting a mirror up to someone that saying something bad about someone else.  As the saying goes, if you don't have anything good to say don't say anything at all.

[bro hugs everyone]

i appreciate the fellas in this thread. we might be fans of different teams and have different points of views but lets keep it about football.

So have any of you seen the Draft Day movie?

Bunch of my friends/family have seen it. I was in c-bus this weekend hanging with some old college buddies and haven't seen it yet.

All reviews I've heard have been positive, but I'm curious what some non Cleveland fans have to say.

Draft Day bombed at the box office but I still have semi interest in it

reviews have been decent but not spectacular; I have heard it's a good movie for people who don't really like football that much

haha yeah my brother said that the Seahawks have the #1pick in the draft

 disrespect.

There's also the scene in the trailer where the coach (Denis Leary) came from the Cowboys and is like "You know what the difference is?  The Dallas Cowboys win championships!" while he bangs on the desk with his new super bowl ring.

Shocking lack of realism right there.
