6 division games.
4 games vs another division in your conference
4 games vs another division in the opposite conference
2 games against teams that finished in the same place in their division, as you did yours, in your conference.

^ That.

Only thing I'll add is that the division you play for each conference is set years in advance since it rotates, so if your an NFC team, you play every team in a single division in the AFC, once every 4 years.

Ah ok thanks for clearing that up. No wonder my skins have such a tough schedule. Does anyone see any team winning 13+ games this year?

Honestly, I love the way the NFL schedule works. It's why I always stress for fans not to get caught up in what a team did last year and think they'll automatically improve the next year. The fact is, a lot of teams with playoff runs have last place or third place schedules so they have more opportunity to win games. There's only really a few teams that consistently win every year and even most of them have a few down years here and there.

Then you get them the next year after a great run and they have to play higher competition on average on a week-to-week basis so sometimes you see a drop in the win column.

Falcons Schedule is rough, but idk about 8-8. At worst I see 9-7 barring injury.

Some teams are lucky enough to play in the AFC East. :x

We signed James Harrison to a 2 year deal. I don't like the guy, but if he can still play that's all I care about.

The Monday night home opener against Pittsburgh just got a lot more interesting.

Can anyone tell me how the **** the Dolphins got two Monday Night games? Against the Bucs and Saints too...like anyone is just dieing to see those matchups. They always put these stupid matchups on MNF nowadays...the best games are Sunday Night.

Ain't no way in hell the Falcons are going 8-8.

Dude is tryna get at Big Ben :lol

Tom vs. Cam?...Game will be good.

MNF projects a lot, but Vikings/Giants and Seahawks/Rams should be real close/good games.

completely unfair. how can they let the terrible raiders, chiefs, and chargers all play in the AFC wes....... oh wait.
This

Though the AFC South wasn't all that great when Peyton was still there..but the AFC East and West is on some other level of crappy competition
