The rule is no pushing, grasping, pulling of the face mask. As long as there is a foul on both teams, it is offsetting, it doesn't matter whether it is 5 fouls on one team and 1 on the other team.

The refs were off all game but it would be smart to not pair up refs who never worked with each other before.

I think Marvin is gonna get a pass this season for not having any offensive weapons outside of Hill/Gio vs Indy. They had no chance rolling with Sanu/Tate/Hewitt & my homeboy Kevin Brock from around the way

Marvin got them above the abyss and definitely made them respectable. But at this point I think it takes someone else, a new message to get them over the hump. Should have promoted Marvin to GM and let Zimmer become coach

Yeah, this is how I feel. It's just time for a change. I think he's a good coach but sometimes you just need a change of scenery.

I don't understand how you can say "If there wasn't a flag on the original play, Dez wouldn't have been on the field arguing." That doesn't matter. He shouldn't be on the field regardless. That's 15 yards and an automatic first down for the Lions, no matter what you think of the PI penalty. I've seen this call go against the ******** before a few times, so I'm baffled that they didn't call it. And it's not petty, the rules are rules.

NFL Network's Jeff Darlington reports Mike Wallace was benched in Sunday's Week 17 loss to the Jets for quitting on the team. Wallace literally quit. After Charles Clay scored a touchdown late in the second quarter, Wallace reportedly "came off the field and told Joe Philbin he no longer wanted to play in the game." Understandably, Wallace's teammates were "very displeased" with Wallace's actions, and he spent the second half sitting on the bench with no one around him. Wallace was a largely effective wide receiver in 2014, particularly in the red zone, but it's now fair to question whether he'll be back with the Dolphins in 2015. He is owed $9.9 million in salary and bonuses.

I'd be saying the same thing if it went against the Cowboys, except I'd be secretly happy that they got screwed.

the call should of been PI.
BUT that call did not dictate the game. cowboys still converted a 4th to keep the drive alive and scored a TD.
lions also had the ball for the final drive with a fair amount of time remaining.
that call being reversed was horrible but it did not dictate the entire game.
seahawks vs pack was a call that dictated the game. the call on sunday as horrible as it was did not dictate the game.

Refs are taught not to make those types of calls in big games. You don't call 3 steps traveling on Lebron James in the 4th quarter of game 7. That's the way it is.
