Don't think it was a necessary move at all, not as high on it. Dude has proved he can't keep his attitude straight. Even though they could cut him you're still bringing him into your system and letting him be exposed to your locker room. Don't know if it's worth it

People said the same about Moss when he signed with the 9'ers, TO when he went to Buffalo..

People don't change?

Bears were sure as hell not good to go with friggin Weems as their #3 receiver. If Wilson didn't get hurt they would have been straight.

Could have gone another route but yeah they needed a replacement

Also, TO was worth the risk for the Bills lol. People change all the time, I just don't think Holmes is worth it that's all

nah but you already have an ultimate diva in cutler who is playing great (yeah it's just preseason)... you have two huge weapons, a pretty decent TE, a great safety valve... now you go and get santonio and throw him in there?

maybe he'll be a big team player, everyone knows he has the talent... but i just don't know why they are powering up on offense when one of the safety positions are still undetermined

Great move by the Bears. I see it as a low risk, high reward situation. The Bears offense will be lethal if Holmes pans out in a 4 WR set. He will be the 3rd WR for now until Wilson returns.

He's 30 with SB experience. Why not. His issue is maturity, attitude, and playing hard.

yeah he's going to join a wr corps that's got a guy with mental issues (i love bmarsh and he's in a great place now but he's pretty open about his mental illness), a second year guy with unlimited upside but is still young -- has the whole mentor thing going for him, and just jump in?

maturity, attitude, and playing hard are pretty big issues when you're 30. he's no josh gordon. but i guess we will see...

I think the Packers offense really comes down to whether Boykin shines or struggles

Rodgers-Cobb-Jordy-Lacy is really good. If Boykin flops they still have Davante Adams ready to go as well.

Packers offense will never be mediocre as long as Rodgers is healthy. Cutler and Stafford are talented and all that but man Stafford really can do a Favre impression and Cutler... I think Cutler will be real good this year. But Rodgers is on a different level and has been on a diff level. So no, Packer's O will not be mediocre...
