I don't think Mac is coming back. He's going to want to get paid and it looks like Chip feels comfortable plugging his guys in at wr and rb. there's going to be up to 5 new starters on D, and potentially 4 new starters on O. That's some turnover for you

Not everyone can be blessed by a 'heave it up and pray to the Gods' QB like the Lions.
I know, we are fortunate to have him

4 new starters on offense?

and with mac's injury history, I'm scared as shhhh of paying him big money long term.. cobb would be the safer bet.. and marshall would be the better fit (but then you have to factor in the crazy)

possibly a new QB, new rb (possibly), someone to replace mac(possibly), and a new guard(if someone internally doesn't win the job). just being hypothetical here

rb might be by committee though so it doesn't really count

tobin was starting games for us last year (hence why herremans was so expendable at his salary).. don't forget mathias was out early, then herremans was out pretty much the back half of the year

sproles and polk are already in place.. so it's just adding to them.. we're not going spend big money on a RB

Larry Donnell was on the plane that skidded off the runway and hit a fence...crazy

Why didn't Peyton Manning take a bigger pay cut?

Guys don't play for charity

I wonder if it would affect the Broncos ability to sign anyone. I mean if he took 4 mil less would that actually make a difference moving forward since he is in his last year?

Why didn't Peyton Manning take a bigger pay cut?

Cause he was still the same Peyton 3/4 of the season.

And even after the drop off in play due to 'injury' he still finished top 5 in every statistical category...

If the majority of the season looked like the last month, I'd agree he should take less... But considering the circumstances I think he did the right thing and obviously helped his team in the process.

Peyton gonna go 11-5/12-4 cause he plays against the always collapsing chargers, park the Carr and Alex smith.

Gonna get you dudes and ESPN wet over him and the same playoff nonsense.

Then fail again, in the playoffs, as always.

He needs to retire already.
This.

Where does the Peyton hate funnel to when he retires?
