j matt is legit. he's already calling Nelson his "twin" as far as work ethic and attitude goes, called him one of the most explosive guys on the team already. It's OTA's though...so yea

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady was third on the list. That suggests strong support for Brady over the past month, though Brady has worn the same jersey for the past 15 seasons, longer than any other player whose jersey finished in the top 15 best-selling jerseys in May.

Chester and I both doing big work :hat

I was surprised when I heard this like 2 weeks ago. Dude has no personality and he hasn't even played in the league yet.
He reps for Hawaii pretty hard I could see a lot of people there as well as Hawaiian's across the US copping them

There were a lot of Steelers fans there when I went (mixed in with the Raiders/49ers fans) and I would attribute that to Polamalu, he's not Hawaiian but there's a big Samoan population in Hawaii

From what I've seen he hasn't been practicing much

Edit: I think it was his hamstring

Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton signed a $103 million contract extension this week, but last month, he reached a different milestone.

Newton told People Magazine that he graduated from Auburn University with a degree in sociology last month, fulfilling a promise he made to his mother.

“Everyone else has always been worried about the football side of things, but not my mother,” Newton said. “My education was my mother’s top priority. I’ve been blessed to have a family that supports me. It’s a Biblical quote: iron sharpens iron. My mother has always been there to sharpen me.”

Newton spent much of the spring attending lectures and studying for exams. Beyond making his mother proud, Newton, who declared for the NFL draft after his junior season, said earning his degree was something he needed to do even though he is set for life financially.

“It wasn’t about money. I wanted to finish something I started,” Newton said. “I value a lot of things in my life, including education. I now have a degree, and nobody can take that away from me. It was very important to me to become a college graduate – not for anyone else, but for myself.”

When the subject of his new deal came up, Newton told People that Charlotte feels like home.

“I feel comfortable in Charlotte. It really is my home away from home; there’s no place I’d rather be,” Newton said. “Things are going well. Our team is ascending to new heights that you would expect our franchise to be heading. There are a lot of team expectations, but I know we can reach them.

In today's NFL climate you have to overpay for a decent qb so I'm not mad Carolina signed him to such a huge extension

It's doesn't really make that much of difference he's still locking down a side of the field and the offense isn't quite sure what he's doing as oppose to following around a receiver and playing man

The Seahawks style of defense is predicated on playing fast, if you always have one corner in man lock it could be hard for his teammates to know their assignments when the offense shifts/motions or gets in crazy formations

Ding ding ding

Seattle's scheme is no predicated on 1 CB tracking a WR so idk why people bring this up consistently. it is what it is.

Seattles defense too a step back once Kam wasn't Kam.....what a novel idea.

Pat Peterson tracked #1's last year & got torched lol

If you don't want to punch Cam Newton in the face every time he speaks then you must be deaf. Fakest player in the league. That press conference the other day where he said that **** about how he's going to celebrate his contract with a big bowl of cereal and milk and get ready for tomorrow's practice made me cringe. It's like his agent and him go over his lines before every time he steps in front of a camera.

It is so rare to see a negative OTA report :lol

Patrick Peterson defines food. :lol

To be honest I kind of remember negative reports about Odell Beckham's work ethic when he was struggling with the hamstring injury last year... lol

Also Knowshon Moreno was getting torched last season around OTA time for being overweight, etc.

So yeah.

They should wait till it goes on sale.

Pretty much sums it up.

How screwed would Carolina be if they let Cam walk? They were terrible last year and made the playoffs because the whole division took a step backwards. Would they have the same success without Cam?
