Smitty's been underrated for almost his entire career and I always f'd with him (pause), but I lost some respect for dude after that playoff L last year. I heard dude ran up on an ex-Patriot turned media analyst outside the stadium and completely disrespected him in front of his wife & kids. Was looking to scrap and all that.

 C'mon man.

It was over some comments Wiggy made about during the time when they were teammates and we all know how Smitty is, but that ***** crossed the line IMO. If I remember correctly, the comments weren't 'eem that bad either.

Ol' livewire ***.

Knew he was bout that life when he beat his teammate down in the film room

Then he beat down Ken Lucas 5-6 years later

Cam has had one of the best TE's in the league and one of the best receivers in the league before they shipped him out and brought in a young beast at WR for him. He also had Lafell, who looked like trash there before Brady had him putting up numbers last year.
You not about to get away with these lies!!!!

Olsen, and past prime Steve Smith, and BRANDON LAFELL!!!! C'mon the hate is showing now.

In wouldn't even be surprised if Steve Smith doesn't hesitate to discipline his own pops if he ever feels he gets out of line :lol

Matt Stafford is the king of hollow stats.

Matt Ryan is underrated.

Dez, Megatron, AB, Julio, OBJ, Jordy, A.J, Bay Bay are the only WRs that I will say are better than Smitty and some of those are questionable. Easily top 10.
Matt Ryan is OVERRATED!

Julio, Roddy White, Tony Gonzalez, Harry Douglas (as a 3rd WR), and at the time a prime Michael Turner

I'm born, raised, and currently live in GA. My closest friends and family are die hard fans, and I've been to Falcons games.

I have never a guy have so much talent offensive, and accomplish so less. I swear it was like the Lakers teams with Gary Payton & Karl Malone.

Now y'all got me looking this up to see if the story was online and look

Smith apparently tried to fight Jermaine Wiggins, one of his former teammates at Carolina, after Saturday's Ravens-Patriots game, a 35-31 Baltimore loss. Wiggins, who turns 40 this weekend, played seven years in the NFL and is now a radio personality in Boston. At some point in the past, Wiggins said Smith was a bad locker room guy and was a "bully." Word got back to Smith, and he wasn't pleased. Here's how the story goes, according to Bertrand:
Smith approaches Wiggy and wants to talk about, 'You called me a bully. I heard you called me a bully.'

To which, Wiggy said: 'I did call you a bully. you know you are one.'

And I talked to Wiggy about it. He said at that point I thought he was, you know, just kind of busting chops and wasn't like serious. Then all of a sudden, it got like really violent and he was in my face looking for a fight! He tried to fight Jermaine Wiggins after the game.
Bertrand adds that security got involved, as did Patriots receiver Brandon LaFell (also a former teammate of Smith's). He then continued to talk about the crazy scene.
Wiggy starts saying, 'You're a bleep, and you won't do bleep!'
Patriots radio color commentator Scott Zolak was also an eyewitness to the scene and added what he saw.
So [Smith] sees Wiggy and he's like 'Yo, what's up?!' And Wiggy's like, 'Hey, what's up?' And Smith is like, 'No dude, what the bleep's up?' And Wiggy's like, 'Oh no, now you're swearing in front of my kids.' And he's like, 'You gotta step off.' And then it starts getting nasty.

And Steve is like, 'You called me a bully! So what's up with that? You know what I'm gonna do? I'm gonna bleep you right now."

And Wiggy's like, 'Man, you gott stop in front of my kids.'
At some point the drama cooled off and the two were separated.
"So [Smith] sees Wiggy and he's like, 'Yo, what's up?' [Wiggy] says, 'Hey, Steve, what's up?' [Smith] is like, 'No, dude, what the [bleep's] up?'

"Wiggy's like, 'Aw, now, now you're swearing in front of my kids.' "(Bertrand had said Wiggins was in the area with his wife and two sons.) "And he's like, 'You gotta step up.' And then it starts getting nasty.

"Steve's like, 'Man, you called me a bully. What's up with that? You know what I'm going to do? I'm going to [bleep] you, right now.'"

A number of people -- Gillette Stadium security personnel, ex-Patriots linebacker Matt Chatham, current Patriots wide receiver Brandon LaFell (who was a teammate of Smith's in Carolina from 2010-13) -- moved in to break things up.

"Chatham took [Smith] and said, 'Man, you gotta get on the bus now,' " continued Zolak. "And Steve Smith just kept yappin' and yappin' . . .

"Now, Wiggy's like Kevin Garnett, pointing at him over the top: 'I'll tell you what you are: You're the same thing you always been!'"

Bertrand later related: "So Wiggy's screaming: 'You won't do nothing! You won't do nothing! You're a *****! You won't do nothing!' "

Eventually, Smith got on the bus and no punches were thrown. But, 13 years after his last game as a Patriot, Wiggins had some action at Gillette Stadium.

Wiggy says he was a bully, Smitty then tries to earth him in front of his family

Gotta keep one eye on this ***** at ALL times.

I love Smitty.. got to holler at him on the sideline at a game once.. Even tho i was in a falcons jersey, and we were winning he was cool about it surprisingly. This was During the Jimmy Claussen era LMAO

Dude sounds like a child. I see why the Panthers let him go.

ches.. come on.. aint no way in hell matty checkdown is underrated..

and you really cant think of 2 more WRs to take smitty out of your top 10 right now?

I was probably looking at it more as a career thing than who I'd rank currently I suppose. The guy is 36, coming off a down year, and puts up 1100 + 6 on a new team. That just holds some weight with me.

If I had to start a team today? Then I'd def have to put the guys I listed + Nuk, TY, Tate (since we've seen what he can do with a QB that throws the ball), Evans, KB, and Sammy ahead of em. Want to see more out of the last three before I crown 'em tho.

How is Matt Ryan overrated tho? Where the hell do people have him ranked to say that? The Falcons defense has been hot trash the last two years. Like 27th in yards and 29th in points. The offense was 8th in yards last year... they just couldn't stop a damn thing.

Generally he is in the 10-15 range and that is probably right. Rarely see him top 10 which is also correct IMO

people saying ____ is overrated look at their WR's RB's etc.

as if they play Defense also. c'mon man. it's a three sided coin. a qb could be having the game of his career and on the verge of winning, yet someone on the special teams or defense can mess that up in one play.
