Ska, True Detective season 1 is a MUST watch for you. Absolutely right up your alley. For multiple reasons. Great storytelling. Pace. Acting performances. Two of thee most luscious breasts you have ever seen. Morality in cops, good/bad/indifferent? Skin crawling crimes. Tremendous Breaking Bad worthy Easter Eggs scene after scene. The ascension and peak of Matthew, 2014. Short but sweet 8 episodes done in a weekend material. I've seen the season 3 times, already.
HBO with Sopranos, GOT, The Wire, Boardwalk Empire. They just get television. They do not lead you astray, nor would I. TD, S1, you absolutely should view.

Will get around to it, soonS2 looks just fine. Great cast, and they switched up the storytelling to stay fresh. No more current, 7 years ago, 15 years ago storylines. Smart to get off that. The 4 leads will flourish, Colin already in his Matthew after one ep.
currently watching some random SyFy mini-series, Ascension. I quite like it.

Boardwalk Empire was great but it had a hard fall the last two seasons. Didn't even finish the final season.
True Detective is very overrated. I was bored pretty much all season long. Only finished it because of my boy Matty Ice and because it's a short season.
Couldn't get into Game of Thrones, watched a few episodes and that was enough.
