I wonder how often something like that happens. I know doctors mess up and nobodies perfect which is why they have insurance. My mom recently tore her bicep and when she had surgery on it the doctor somehow screwed up and literally shredded her pectoral muscle. He’s still employed, they don’t get rid of doctors for things like that

Unless it’s happening repeatedly and the doctor is a literal risk to others, they’re not letting them go.

He says it’s medical battery. That’s like a doctor coming into your room while hopsiltaizrd. Not explaining anything and just sticking needles in places without you knowing anything. Until that’s proven it isn’t a “battery” case and just a complication. Should he sue for a complication sure but I’m positive they told him “hey risks are….x y and z…” it happens. Not saying don’t give him anything but he’s playing it like he was completely not informed.

They are also claiming negligence because you know, HE PUNCTURED HIS LUNG.

Looks like 14 people will collapse their lung for every 1000 people that get this procedure.

Unless the doctor didn’t follow the normal steps to do the procedure and or didn’t explain it to him reasonably- this isn’t “medical battery”
