If y'all didn't want him, then why pay him?

Paying a 34 year old RB 4 milly to not even be on the active roster in favor of a guy coming off an ACL injury that literally hasn't played 1 regular season snap just sounds silly. AD ran for 1000 yards at 4 a pop, last year. You telling they have NO use for dude?

The money is negligible, because if he's cut I think the Skins are only on the hook for like 1.5m.

Also, his signing was insurance in case Guice wasn't ready to go. He had multiple setbacks following his surgery and before preseason, no one knew where he was physically.

Trust me, AD was a good story in a very uneven skins year last season...but he was extremely inconsistent. Like it was said, Guice + CT > AD.
