was 9th in the first line, 3rd in the second line. We did another line this morning even with stanchions and police assistance was  like 16th,

then they say "naw nike sending them back." Then they said go to champs they got everything but foams "was 5th after the first two dudes

I WAS AT BAYBROOK MALL, THEY DID A RAFFLE. I HEARD GALLERIA AND NORTHLINE WERE GONNA DO IT DIRTY SO I STAYED AWAY FROM THEM. THE PEOPLE FOR THE FOAMS WHO WON THE RAFFLE WERE ESCORTED INSIDE BY POLICE AND GIVEN A TICKET FOR THEIR SIZE TO COME BACK AND PICK UP AT 7AM. I ASSUMED SINCE IT WAS ORGANIZED AND NO PROBLEMS THAT THEY WILL BE ABLE TO PICK THEM UP IF THEY HAVEN'T ALREADY.

Vegas was nuts. Stores were telling ppl to line up at the usual spot ... which I'm not going to ruin for my Vegas fam ... and come midnight, it was all chaos, ppl waiting at every stairway, every door, every floor of the parking lot. The most shady part was when security "randomly selected 10 people" to get reservation tickets for the Foams.\
EDIT: After it was announced that there were NO MORE GALAXY FOAMS, a lot of ppl left. The remaining got tickets for Spizikes, Dave Whites, Galaxy KDs, Kobes, Lebrons, and whatever else dropped today.

But shout out to NikeTown Las Vegas for doing the Twitter RSVP. Sadly, I think that's the most civil way of handling a release like this now days.

How is it that Nice Kicks releases always seem to go off without 1 problem every time? Maybe other stores should take notes.

the main problem is Mall security can't take sneaker releases seriously

 + Footlocker doesn't like to spend $ on security even though they rake in 20k+ profits every big release day (even GR jordans)

they laugh, they doubt it will get nuts.

they tell people NOT to line up until the day of... and then when 300+ people show up they don't know what to do

I mean, if idiots want to camp, show them where to do it. if you only have 20 pairs of what EVERYONE wants, give wristbands when you have 20+ campers...

...  Because for releases like this Nike wants to see more than just a shop opening its doors and selling out in 5 mins.  They want a spectacle and a show!!!  Look at all the stuff shops did for Yeezy's, rearranging their entire stores, serving dinner with Yeezy's as the final course and one shop even re painted their shop and used black lights to give it a whole glow in the dark feel.  If you dont do that kind of stuff you dont get major super limited releases...Its just that simple.
Now in the case of these Foams, the hype was high and not telling the public the numbers gives it an air of mystery.  Even though I know all the all star shoes were produced in similar numbers it seems like (to the general public) the Foams are "Super Limited".  Its all just part of the show...... I know people who work for Nike and they base some of their success on the resale numbers. Shoe drops on Saturday morning at 9am, they are on Ebay at 9:01 to see how much they are reselling for, and the higher the price the better the release (in their eyes)...

What I dont understand is why Nike does this at all...? 1) The general public couldnt care less about these. 2) only sneakerheads are out there to buy these 3) why not release more and make more money?..... At this point if they released 250k pairs worldwide they would sell out and resale prices would still be high.... Seems to me that Nikes old business model made more sense, seed these shoes with almost zero prior knowledge to a few shops, personally deliver X amount of pairs to trendsetters, tastemakers, athletes and entertainers and let the sneaker heads and early adopters have "something different" that sets the trend for the general public.  I can guarantee this Galaxy release does not give any non sneaker head any type of incentive to go out and purchase a different pair of Foams or any Nike for that matter.

its just the hype... guarantee 80% of the people that are lining up and dropping all kinds of bread for these shoes dont even have a pair of foambs to begin with.....

two of my homies succeeded in grabbing these from HoH in KC... crazy release but smoother than concords surprisingly
 
Oh and btw, not one store in Florida Mall got to release their All Store shoes. Not Hoh, Footaction/Jordan Brand, Champs or Finishline. Only Dave Whites and Spizikes.
 
Nike said they have "shipped out the foams" lies i think..

went back at hohmd at 930am and managed to get in the mall in another door where some other people where. got in line and it was madness with the police. they
said no more shoes then some 3 random guys dressed up with jordans or nike came and got things togther. the foams didnt release but the rest of the allstar pack did.
managed to get the lebrons..came out and there was atleast 200 people still in line..welp now im home and bought to go back to the mall to get more details on foams.

i went off on all the employees. I said ill be back at 3 waiting for your VIPs to pick em up.

i bet nike releases the foams at some random hour of day when no one expects anything.......why would nike ship these overseas...im confused, i thought the overseas cats already had galaxy foams? why are they gonna get ours?

A) if nike ships them (which they probably won't, just buying time)
they'll most likely just goto NYC where they sold hundreds without incident, as far as I know.

but if/when they do employees will just call everyone and these will just goto resellers, so you kids will continue to complain

B) with a tiny possibility of NDC, and only to appease everyone crying online, which I doubt they care to do.
