Nike Air Foamposite One "Galaxy" 2/25/12: NO BUYING/SELLING/TRADING! YOU WILL BE BANNED!

I have a pair of Galaxy foams, and I would not want that trade, not by a country mile. Then again though, I have 0 interest in any of those sneakers, with the possible exception of the Lebrons; still though, there's no way I would ever make that trade.

sell foams and you still come out on top,

I BELIEVE 96 PERCENT OF ALL PAIRS OF THESE ARE ON EBAY... SMFH.... AND SELLERS ARE REALLY PUSHING THE 2000> PRICE TAG... IM STILL TRYING TO GET A PAIR BUT I REFUSE TO GIVE ANYONE 2 GRAND FOR SHOES

sent payment for my pair today!

Made a deal with someone to camp out before RD and they came through.

#FEELSGOOD

Still can't believe we got these in Canada but Im glad we did cause there was no way I was gonna pay more than $1000 for them.

guess it would've been worth it to buy them for 600 or 800 in fordham.

The foam that killed foams. Really glad I don't like these at all. Meaning I didn't have to go through some bull that has become so synonymous with copping "limited sneakers". Anyone get shot for these yet? I'm sure that will boost resale prices through the roof haha

no there were still camp outs and ppl lined up for hours, but there wasn't any police or riot squad.  And the release made the Montreal paper too so it's not like there wasn't any hype behind them here.  I think Vancouver got the most pairs followed by Toronto and Montreal.  I think Windsor ontario may have also got some since there is a seller on the Bay selling multiples from there.

NOBODY goes HAM for sneakers like you americans

But I give you guys mad respect cause I wouldn't even bother if I had to deal with that sort of chaos for every release.

It ain't all peachy here tho, we don't get A LOT of releases yall do.  But with the release of these foams I think that's gonna change.........and I cant put into words how happy that makes me

It's been years since Canada received a foamposite one release and one of the reasons is retail was $269.99 + tax..........it's a gift and a curse to live here if you're a sneakerhead!

Although, I do think Nike handled the situation horribly, such as not raffling and making people actually run to get in line at 11pm. If this applied to the states, it would've been BAD.

All in all though, the people kept it really civilized in Vancity. I managed to snag a pair so I'm happy, but there were people waiting for the entire day and still didn't get in line.

I also heard that at another location, some dude paid 4 hobos to wait in line for him ($150 per person), and supplied them with chairs, blankets, and food

Talk about a win/win situation...

In Toronto, people basically knew the numbers and where to go. Once people filled the line cues, the people who weren't slotted to get pairs didn't bother lining up.

Game is heavy up here, but it's cold as hell and people aren't savages about it. I still camped and chilled for 24 hours, but was still able to leave the line to grab food, check out some local spots, chill and use the washroom. People knew their cue in line and everyone was pretty laidback. 6 AM a couple goons tried to cut the line but of course we weren't having that.

Footlocker Eaton Centre actually was a mad dash once the mall opened, but no violence. Police picked out the 10 people they think got to the line first in a civil manner.

Livestock was pretty much the same, cats lined up outside for a day and a half, they only had like 6 pairs anyways so it was a wrap once 6-8 people started a line.

All the sneakerheads here know each other in some form or another, via Summits, visits to local spots and such, so it's all love for the most part.

THIS!!!

Each store happily agreed to let everyone know what sizes and how many pairs they had except ExCluCity in Montreal cause they said they had signed some confidentiality agreement to keep it undisclosed.  Even the damn Nike store told everyone exactly what they had so that when they had 13 pairs and the 14th person showed up they knew it wasn't gonna happen and they just left.  That helped keep the crowds down and the chaos away.  Plus there's a sense of respect and like soulize, if you're a head here, you probably know the other heads in your city so everyone is chill

Canada FTW!!!

Glad to hear that. I can already imagine how dudes would be plotting had there not been any escorts. So EVERYBODY got an escort though?????

yeah, well congrats. i only waited about 12+ hours in total and still didn't get a pair thanks to the store at PG Plaza in MD and the mall in Baltimore. lol.

i couldn't find a store that sold these in Seattle area. would have been nice to make a quick $800

I counted approximately 500 pairs on ebay right now. (just imagine if each pair sells for over 1k...that's a half a mill nike isn't getting
laugh.gif
) That's not counting how many pairs have been sold already and are on other websites. I would say it's over 2,000 pairs out there. Anyone that thinks 600 is way off.
