I never had these (OG or Retro), but I always remembered the OGs having that bluish tint.

It’s actually 3M but is super reflective…Combined with the reflective spare laces laces they come with it’s just enough extra detail without going crazy with it…

The advice they put up on the product page that they recommend getting your AF1 size is pretty much it…I’m TTS 12 and go 11.5 in my AF1’s for reference…

I have a slightly wide foot and found them to run a bit narrow in the past so I went with my TTS size 12 in these and they fit perfect for me…Either TTS or .5 down should work on these for everyone, but stick with your AF1 size of you’re unsure…

The pair pictured that I quoted above has the "CoolB" color name.


But then there's these....both have the same SKU/color code....

So the only Black/Greys that originally released, were actually Black/Cool Blue.

Nike be confusing. They didn't even need to notate the blue tinge.

Hyped for the originals to come back! Hope we also get the berry color way. I remember being a kid and seeing a contestant wearing the berry color way in American Gladiators. Lol

Was this a case like the Jordan 7 black-red? Where the factory made the look of the shoe?
Where pairs from different factories looked like completely different colorways?

I thought they were two separate colorways, one with a grey panels and one with a blue panels.

May just be lighting or age. As far as I remember, they always had a bit of blue tint to them. I don't ever remember it being a straight grey. It was the same nappy suede material as the OG Trainer Max.
