Did these really "flop", or was it since their were so many c/w's, that it was hard not to catch a couple on racks? Never was a fan, but these shoes got love in nyc back then.

Nike Basketball didn't have nearly the amount of hype it does now.

The retail on these got a $5 increase from the original pair in 2001.. The 2013's are suppose to retail at $130, which isn't bad seeing as though most shoes are getting $30 price increases.. Good job Nike...

it may just be the catalog photos but that swoosh placement near the toe looks a little low

They can release all these "hyped" colorways, just make sure to release the yellow/black colorway. And it wouldn't hurt to have another purple/black too haha
