That **** had me dying when cats taped over their NA logos in the Royals thread. My pair are still intact after 4 wears. I wore Elite socks so that may be the difference

Yes. The pair my bro sent me in size 8.5 has a weird cut near the oval part of the toe box on the right pair.

:lol To each his own yall. I tape/preserve my logos! Whatever you wanna call it, I do that. I want it to be there, don't care if I'm the only one who sees it lol. Been doing that on most of (but not all) my shoes for as long as I can remember. For a while I was certain I was the only one that did that. Maybe I'm a lil OCD but growing up it irked me when the insole logo on new pair would wear away after a few wears and with JB in particular it was worse. Perfectly good jordan/nike air logo gone after just one or so wears smh. Hell I saw it as a solution to a problem and works for me to this day. It's actually sort of like a ritual when I copp a new pair depending on what it is. It's right up there with how relacing etc. is for others. That said I definitely get why the insole logo means nothing to most. I'm just weird as **** :lol.

I do the same because I wear my J's. It's not like people are going to see the taped logo when I wear them anyway ;)

Now if I were to resell, I wouldn't tape the logo on the insole[emoji]128077[/emoji]

Tape on the inside shoe logo that's under your foot whenever you wear it, and only visible to you if you stare at you feet while putting on your shoes for those two seconds????
I must be missing something, cause yal CANT be serious, noooooooo

^^ Dead serious. It's kind of like how some people clean their soles after each wear to preserve the shoes for as long as they can, or how some place the sole protectors on their 11's to keep them icy longer.

I got my pair from Eastbay and l think I lost my receipt. Does eastbay send one? I figured I lost mines so I called up their customer service and they sent me an invoice via email. My problem with that is it came over in word which I can change the info on and doesn't look legit on regular white paper. And the second thought that came to mind was WTF how many people get them to email them for any pair and sell unauthorized w it??:rolleyes

i preserve my logos. used to tape but thats just ridiculous. now its all about throwing in an extra pair of cheapo insoles.

This is a little more extreme than those cases to me because at least they are trying to protect visible parts of the shoe. But they are your kicks, so do as you please.

That one instagram account said that was a sign of fakes (where the hook isn't tucked in enough). But its not the case. One of my retail pairs is like that, and only on one shoe. Bugs be slightly.
