Copping! Man JB needa calm the **** down though, way too many classics and must cops dropping next year, spread it the **** out!

How will these be easy if they are limited? These are pretty much the most known 1. People gonna beast for these especially since all the 1s dropping prior
I always thought that part of the hype that's building every limited release are sneaker blogs. If they hype it too much, a ****load of beasts will come and fiend for a pair.

I may be wrong, but it's just my opinion.

JB trolling the game once again....

..oh the irony of it all, they dropped these 1's less than 2 years ago right before they dropped the Nike Air versions of the other og colorways...should've made the Chicago's a Nike Air AJ 1 as well...

more money for JB I guess...smh
dunno why it wasn't nike air when they dropped especially when the knicks colorway dropped the same time with nike air, made no sense

Everyone complaining about the price needs to chill. It was inevitable and true fans of the Air Jordan 1 lineage shouldn't sweat it. It's $20, so either cook instead of go out one night, walk somewhere instead of drive/cab it or don't buy an article of clothing that must match them.

These are well worth it. Just remember that in 1985, these dropped for $65, in 2001 they dropped for $100, in 2013 $140 and I'm sure by 2020 we will be paying. $200 retail. I never liked studying economics but it's a reality.

JB loves customers like you :lol

^They can't love me too much. I only buy OG Air Jordan 1s, which means they've made very little from me this year.

So what you're saying summarily is that we shouldn't be upset about the price increase for the most basic Jordan of the lineup. We also should cut back on daily habits just to appease the idea that JB deserves an extra $20 for no legitimate reason? Gotcha....

Regardless of the price, these will be copped. Personally prefer these to the BREDs, just hope the quality is on point...

Dub Zeros being the first hybrid back in 05 had everyone, everyone, buzzing for them months before they dropped. These were the second shoe JB hyped up well, after the Altitude 13s.

. . . Then they dropped, . . . Then everyone said why?

FIN

bought photo blue this year as a nostalgic pair.
but bring back the chI's , and black reds. ALL OF THEM

Take it from this perspective, wouldn't you be ticked if you found out people were buying and reselling your products at a higher price margin? All the money your potentially losing. I'm not sure if paying $20 more really means were paying for quality worth $20 more but it's a market move. I hate a higher retail price but I hate resale prices more. Cutting into a resellers profit margin reduces the appeal for reselling (i.e. WTLs). So until hype, demand, whatever finally goes away, we have to suck it up and pay a higher price. Right now, the sellers are controlling the market. We aren't forced to buy the shoes but we are forced to pay the price as long as there are people out there willing to buy it as well

160 these gotta be top notch quality. has to be remastered quality . i think this is THE most (not one of )iconic jordan of all time.

airuphere23 airuphere23 , it seems that you're misconstruing my point. Purchasing multiple sneakers is a want and a privilege. No one in here needs to be doing this. People seem to forget everything on the business and manufacturing side that goes into sneakers and sneaker production costs. Things such as inflation, factory wages, costs of raw materials, transportation/fuel all have an effect. Everyone gripes and moans about price increases but they've gone up with every retro and annually sell out quicker than ever before. Get used to it and if an additional $20 is going to break the bank, then I suggested you make a minor adjustment on other expenses, not altering your life. If you're eating lunch out at work, you're dropping $50 a week easy. Pack a sandwich two days, you'll live.

The bottom line, Nike is never going to settle for a measly $100 from a customer who is more than happy to pay $200 every Saturday, even if it's begrudgingly.

Actually, the 2001 Jordan 1's retailed for $80. I had a pair of the black/red pair..

These better be good quality. The last retro fit weird and hurt my pinky toe, not to mention the cardboard leather, got rid of em quick. These are My fav cw behind royals and breds. Shadows come in 4th place...

There's still no confirmed RD on these right? Just some speculation?

Never realized how big the Jumpman hangtag was on the 01 Blk/red I
