Nike last year during the talk with bloggers about the 'remastered' editions (around Aug) gave rhyme-n-reson to the 2015 price hikes.....supposedly quality cost and we would see fewer pairs but better quality at an increase of $15-20 over the traditional pricepoints.$175
JB just charging what ever they want now. There is no pattern to these price increases.

I honestly only want them because they will have the remastered mold and quality leather. Color way will probably on get a rock by me a few times a year. 1 pair will do. If these weren't being made in the "remastered" line I would probably pass.

But that's the odd thing. I never thought AJ1s had real heat, nor the resale price its holding right now.
I saw these on sneakernews early this year and wanted them since they look so fresh. But with the recent SBB and Chi's I doubt I'll be able to cop with the hypebeast and resellers on the trigger.

Facts. I'm a die hard 1's fan, but I just dont like these much. However, they will make good trade bait. I will only grab if theyre a GR like Chicagos.

AJ1 hype's slowly built up over the past few years. Damn shame too. They're like a more consistently released version of the AJ11 now.

Only the Bred 1s and Royals were limited in 2013. And in 2015 the Chis were tooView media item 1613167

Royals had more pairs allocated to Europe that's why they were difficult. All the 2013 OGs had around the same production numbers just hype determined how fast they sold.

You don't have to worry about that because I expect these to be a lot easier to get compared to the Chicago despite similar quantities produced.
