Nike Air Jordan 4 Retro "White/Cement" - The Aftermath - NO BUYING/SELLING/TRADING

In regard to the leather.... I can't speak on the 2012's or 1989's, as I never had a pair... but the 99's weren't real leather. They were a pressed synthetic.
And the Teal IV everyone referring as quality leather, are synthetic leather - so pretty sure these WC are synthetic as well.

I found these on a REP site, not sure what to think of the Nike Air logo but I do like the paint and speckles and that they are using NIKE on the bottoms.  Sorry if already posted, I didn't see any pics in the last 3 or 4 pages.

Interesting pics. Colorway looks exactly like the lighter colored 99s
Shape looks OK but not great, as far as toe-box/banana
Still the wrong netting angle

This almost looks like just an homage to the 99's, rather than a true remaster
They look semi-decent, but probably not worth the hassle and price hike

These are dropping with a black midsole?

The black is actually part of the outsole, and thats how the WC IV always looked

Something about those are not right.
The bubble looks off on those..... :rolleyes
The NA on the sole looks off.... :rolleyes

Nike's idea of "remastering" early Jordan models is just throwing the Nike Air on the back, or the insole. They make very minor alterations to distinguish it from earlier retros and call it a day. Just a lazy company when it comes to reissuing classic shoes smh.

In many ways I agree with your statement, I will say the remastered 1s are more than a NA window dressing. I had given up on 1s circa 2009-2012 for the most part because the mold was so unagreeable to me (Pinky toe of death, weird oversize tongue, etc). The remastered 1s are back to TTS, the materials are better, and the pricepoint is not too outrageous -- yet (hear there's an increase slated for '16). I have a pair of remastered AF1s which I haven't had a chance to wear but the profile looks different to some other hi ones and it looks similar to the OG tech sheet of the 80s.

So same as '15 but with mesh that is sooo close to being parallel, but not quite, and the lower plastic tabs looking more OG.....

In other words, the same trash mold since '05
Yall act like you expected something different.

"Remaster" is just a Price-Hiked Retro with "Nike Air" on them for all us that complained over the years. In most cases, Quality still Boo-Boo.
