I'm not sure that it prevents entirely the yellowing,
from my knowledge it mainly comes from the room temperature, humidity and sunlight (UV), for the yellowing, put Silicon Gel pack inside each foot, should helpa lot !
Therefore when you put your shoes on display all year long, like i do, it will prevent from dust, eventuel stains marks when people touch (even if they shouldnot

bad smells, etc.... As you can see in the pictures, some shoes are not wraped, like the jordan VI or VII, due to their shape, and materiel, and if you leave itwraped for a long time, it might change a little the top shape of the shoes as this kind of wraping is tighting the shoe.
Someone told me on NT a few weeks ago :"you wraped your shoes, you re crazy man, its not good", I asked for explanation, NONE untill today.
