...thanks for sharing.I feel like as the creator of NikeTalk you must at this point have some type of pull at Nike. If so, please tell them to STOP using the horrific THICK, bold elephant print that has ruined retro III's for the past couple decades. Makes them look childish.

At this point I have met and spoken to quite a few ppl at Nike/JB but I have exactly zero pull. I agree that the elephant print pattern is completely wrong, making it less bold would make a huge difference.

I wish they start releasing OG retros in sets so we can get the same shape on multiple OG colors. What’s the point in spreading out different OG colors of the same models.

Ya know something I've always wondered, but never seen brought up? Did Tinker try to sneak in a swoosh right here with the ankle collar and heel tab? You don't see it on any of the retros because the lines/cuts are slightly different, but I see it every time I look at an OG.

My first big release I remember was the 07 Fire Reds.. they dropped the Fire Reds, Flips, and Pure Money 3’s all on the same day I believe.

Yeah, when they spread them out over years, they also make tweaks to the mold and all releases end up looking different as we see.
They don’t even have to release them at once, just produce all colors together
