Still don’t understand why Nike refuses to release OG colorways other than the Gundams. With the 97s they retroed the gold, silver, Atlantic blue and japans.


Side note: Really glad I copped the Gundams for $220 from a European site during release. Resale hitting $350

Thanks. I hate how Nike has been putting contrasting tongues and all white midsoles on so many 98s and AMPs. I really dig these crimson oranges, but they would have been 100x better with a light grey tongue and dark grey midsole IMO. I feel like the laces actually give them a more factory look to accent the white and offset the tongue than they had originally.

I really, really dig checker style round laces. Used to throw them into all my kicks back when lace-swaps were the norm and they were readily available at Footlocker, Footaction, Finishline, etc.

Hadn't seen them in ages and about two years ago this Chinese bodega had a ton of different colorways on a rack. I bought every single pair they had
