First SC pays for ALL the collabo's they do with Nike.  They have a contract with Nike to cover kicks and Steve has worked to get to the point where they get these special make ups. 
They pay for the right to be in bed with Nike.  No way no how Meth ever goes this route... not after all Nike has done to go in on NT and done way more for Nike than SC ever has.
