How did you secure a pair? I’m on the hunt for these in a US 11.5 or 12
Based in Europe they restocked on NDC this week and then went again pretty much by yesterday

I’m an 11.5 but picked these up in an 11 just because it was the closest size they had at the time, they did restock in 12 but gone now, I’ll keep an eye if they restock again only uk6-7 atm

Appreciate that man but if you know anyone that could source me a pair that’s fine. I have no problem paying resell for these.

I've seen DS 1998 Tigers and Hyperblues go for less :nerd:

yeah because they are unwearable and will need a soleswap, i got DS 99 Rainbows for £225 and paid £110 each for my DS 98 Hypers and 99 Tigers.

the AUS market and demand has hiked up prices on the 05-15 Vietnam made TN’s in recent years due to their quality and shape over the 2015-present Indonesian made TN’s. Plus you can get 2013 retro versions of Hypers and Tigers for around £350-400 That are wearble and dont need a soleswap. Yes the made in china 98-05 pairs were so much better with there padding and comfort etc but people don’t want to pay big £££’s on soleswaps as the plastics can crack and peel and also there is no guarantee that they will hold up.

Just curious, when did you bought the 98 Hypers and 99 Tigers at 100£? Must've been years ago...
Nowadays people on Insta/FB/ebay list the late 90s TNs a lot more than that for a DS non-crumbling pair

And yeah I agree with you that the AUS market drove the prices up for the Viet pairs, ESPECIALLY for the Fireberries lol. After all, things like this have no intrinsic value...their value is what a buyer would pay to get them

Now waiting for these beauties, I would rather have bought them at the time with a promo code but still glad I'll get them, hope Footlocker won't cancel my order...

Can't wait for other TN's and TW's models releases because TN1, TN3 and TW4 are really comfortable, lightweight and beautiful, and I like how the form of Air Max shoes used to evolve to something more agressive and aerodynamic between the 90's till these ones

Nah, still has nipples on the bottom. No scuffs. Only worn a couple times.
Nice deal, I wish the 2018s had a similar color and fade to the 2013s. Wore my 2013s a lot and they unfortunately didn't last long. (severe heel drag and a part of the midsole was already separating from the rest of the shoe)

Yea once you compare the 2013 vs 2018 side by side, 2013's are better and it's not even close in my opinion.
At least the 2018s have cool boxes and tissue paper.:lol::lol:

By the way has anyone else had bad heel drag on their Air Max Pluses? I know to expect it from regular wear but with the Plus the heel has been dragging all the way to the midsole. I don't know if it's my gait, if the drag is happening when I drive, or if it's the rubber sole, or a combo of a few things. It's not as noticable on other shoes but with the Air Max Plus it's extra noticable.
