This isn't Nike Od'ing this is how it has been here in Aus almost since 98 , I can't recall a month that didn't have a new color come out. These are a staple like AF1's were for years in the statesColors are nice, but nike od'ing on releases for eu and aus. The few that dropped here are ok, but just waiting for the pimentos to drop to complement my hypers.
its all about demand and supply, if there was not such large demand for Tuned Airs in AUSThis isn't Nike Od'ing this is how it has been here in Aus almost since 98 , I can't recall a month that didn't have a new color come out. These are a staple like AF1's were for years in the states

Nike wouldnt bring out a 2-4 cws every 2 months there
in the US there is not so much demand for the Tuneds cuz all the peeps there got brainwashed by the Jordans and Lebrons
so the end result is that the US now only get 4-5 cws every 5 years
It more gets passed down from generation to generation you see older guys moving away from them and the kids flocking to themSure it's Nike ODing, they see people are pawns to a certain model and they flood that said market. Just as you said they did the same with Af1's and they do the same with other models now. I don't think af1's or any model has that many colors dropping for 15+ years, consistently. People love to follow trends and what everyone else is doing/wearing, If I were nike I would do the same, just milk it. Eventually the casual consumer tires and moves on to the next gimmick, apparently not everywhere.
Btw, never owned a pair of af1's. Just not my thing.
Gotcha, hear you.It more gets passed down from generation to generation you see older guys moving away from them and the kids flocking to them
But to put it into persepctive for US guys they are like air max 90's to us, just a popular air max model that is still around, and air max 90 has 1000 colorways each month has multiple new CW's coming out.
This shoe is the most loved and hated shoe in Australia, due to the type of people who wear it... My wife cringes if I buy a pair
My comment about Nike not OD'ing was more aimed that this isn't new, it's not like they just started OD'ing they OD'd in 2000 lol
Wait...whoa. What did you just say? Your CHAMPS just got them in? As in US retailer champs???
God PLEASE be in the US. I'm making calls tomorrow morning
Yeah he's in Texas.
