Nike Air Max Plus Thread

Came to the realization the Doernbechers are just too busy for me, and I don't really do the mismatched shoes thing either.

^^ I honestly cannot imagine that any grown man would wear those

Unless you were somehow involved in the making and/or are related to that organization.

I've had 3 children who are relatives in the past 10 years spend considerable time in neonatal intensive care units, so the idea of supporting sick kids is something consistent with who I am. I also would say I have a solid 19 pairs of AMPs (was 20 but I returned a pair recently), and so I have all kinds of colorways of this shoe in my collection. So it bridges those two aspects of my life.

But I kind of just wish they were the black side, or the blue side, not one of each.

Yeah I should have added 'or supporting that organization/charity in any way'.

They look nice but Nike (and a lot of NTers) is just way too focused on redoing their "classic" colorways. There will be new Jordans and the first thing people start wanting is "cool grey" or "bred". I get it, but at the same time it's 2026, do we really need to just keep re-treading the same colorways on 25 different shoes
