To me they fit TTS. I went up a full size on my huarache LE and TTS on my air flight huaraches. But for some reason, maybe its nikes quality control, my trail browns fit slightly smaller than my mandarins.

Crud. I'm picky about sizing. Lol what size do you wear in AM1s? Just so I can compare. And then what size are your mowabbs? I hope these aren't too big. I guess we will see! Thanks for the info man

Unfortunately i don't have any AM1s. I wear a size 12.

Yeah those were the Mowabb plus or something like that. I mentioned those a couple pages back but no word on them doing a retro yet. The teal/doetan pair would make my cipher complete but those up there and pretty much any other OG color would also be appreciated.

Haven't unds either of mine yet now. Might rock the brown pair first but I'm searching for some laces to swap out that's a lighter color brown than the stock laces. The OGs had much lighter brown laces.

Like the shape on the old models are better. They have that nice triangular shape. I wonder if you can iron these retros like AM1s

I'm sure you can, although I would hesitate to mess with these only because I know one issue with Mowabbs as well as huaraches is the rubber separating from the tip of the toe over time in some cases. Probably just if you really beat them up but it seems to happen somewhat regularly.

Lets be honest tho, 

when was the last time Nike made shoes with a shape like that? I think they've been doing a lot better, but they still have a very long way to go.

Yeah definitely. I just keep hoping eventually they will realize it and change the shape again.

It's not about realizing. For whatever reason it's probably cost effective for their shoes to keep that more banana type shape than they used to back in the day. There's not a single Nike retro out there where the shape is identical to the OG so to at least have the materials and construction be of good quality is a lot IMO. I don't cop too many Nike retros anymore, just don't have the patience for the shortcuts but I think they did a relatively good job on the Mowabbs so far. Only major gripe is the price hike which is why I only scooped the Browns so quick because of the sale.

Having a hard time finding the laces for them though.

Also does anyone know if the trail brown ones came out in a 12.5? Its just a tiny bit too tight on my left foot and i would hate to go up a full size.

I would just suggest wearing them and breaking them in or use a stretcher on just the left shoe. The leather/suede on these seems more pliable and should give/stretch a little over time.

I don't think any of them have come in a 12.5. Nike cancelled my 12.5 Mandarin and another NT member when they first came out.

Primitive had a Labor Day sale for $144 shipped so I jumped on it. Thought I was gonna have to wait and cross my fingers.

Don't think they can hold up in rough condition that well. It'd probably be fine if only worn just once or few times in such circumstances, but those sportswear shoes are definitely not for the serious usage considering that they are basically built w/ 20 years ago technologies.

I think these would be comfortable enough for a hike but not like the all-time ideal hiking shoe. The thing about these that made them ACG wasn't so much that they were some kind of magical gore-tex like materials, it's basically just a running shoe that's made of mostly a leather upper to keep sand, clay, etc for digging into any mesh, blocks out most mud on the sides.

Then there's the sock liner. I read somewhere that it was designed to keep rocks, sticks, and those annoying prickly things from kicking up into your shoes.

That was really it. Sneakers back then were of much better quality but otherwise the design and construction is the same. I did some very light hiking for a couple of hours years ago in my 04 Mowabb retros up in the Pacific Northwest and it was no problem.
