Nike Air Pegasus ALL NEW MODELS 30, 31, 32 and up

Invincible’s already Nikes Max cushion shoe no?

So that’s the plus and we got a premium coming? Price tag gonna be wild.

The Talaria Vomero 17 is on sale now for ~$112 with taxes. I'm tempted to scoop!

After reading the tech specs, I just discovered that they don't have forefoot Zoom Air?!

So here it looks more like the Zoom X might actually be the “thicker” labelled ‘ZOOM X bulge in the middle layer part, encased by carrier foam (React X).

Does anyone have confirmation whether Zoom X is just the first top layer, or whether it is genuinely that middle layer that is encased?

If it’s the latter I’d feel much happier with that, if it’s the former I’d fill slightly disappointed.

The Nike Vomero 18 holds true to its purpose as a max cushion shoe, going above and beyond past versions with a 46 mm of stack height in the heel and 36 mm in the forefoot. That’s a lot of cushion. Speaking of cushion, the midsole is a two-layer composite of Nike foams– a thin top layer of the bouncy PEBA-style ZoomX found in models like the Invincible and Vaporfly, and a thick bottom layer of ReactX foam, the same foam found in shoes like the Pegasus 41 and InfinityRN 4. Nike wants you to think the whole thing is ZoomX, so it somewhat misleadingly prints the word ZoomX on the bulbous heel section which is– in reality– ReactX foam. Not dragging Nike, pretty much every other brand does this as well, especially Asics.

Yep. Picked em up at the Nike store. Time to get some miles in

That Epic React one RIP. I wish they weren’t so expensive on resale platforms or I had the knowledge that Nike has issues exercising consistency across their lines.

I like the Peg Plus not enough cushioning a la the Invincible or Infinity for ME. I feel like Nike gave away that segment while still competing in the super shoe category.

Prefer the Super Blast 1-2, the Nova Blast. I tried the Brooks Glycerin Max and it was comparable to the Super Blast. I’m sure New Balance and the Cloud probably have similar platforms.
Epic react one had that annoying squeaking too
