You had to see these on court back in '98 or '97 to watch the Black pair in action but I can't wait to grab the Royals. I coveted the '09 when I finally got them.

I always thought of these, especially the white and royal pair as the watered down foamposite 1 or foam 1 lite. That worked for me back in 7th grade as I was able to get these as ma dukes wasn't dropping 200 on the foams!

Indeed, in my area (Montreal), Blk/Wht Uptempo are readily available in FTL stores at the moment (almost sold out online though) unlike the 2016 release which only HOH got in small quantity. Barkley are still only available at the HOH and Penny 3 are not in stores yet.

Yeah the black/white uptempo is all over the place at my mall when they said they wouldn't get them. I'll be patient.

the black/royals look really good...but im waiting on white/royal. id probably pay retail for those. nike is giving nike retro fans a treat this month too with the neon uptempos

I played in the royals back in 98, but I really wanted the black ones back then. All the recent retros have sucked in comparison IMO. I want to check these out in hand.
