the og's strap was plastic and gets oxidized after age, the retro is  straight carbon fiber which is another plus.

these drop almost a week ago and only 1 site has them for purchase, thats crazy!

The material is like a woven mesh fabric.

What in the world gave you the idea they were Carbon Fiber ?

they fit tts but they hurt my feet (to each his own) so i took my og soles and put them in the retro shoe, whole lot more comfy..

I don't think my feet can wear these for an entire day no ankle padding, pleather tongue, very stiff, and I went an .5 size up and they still feel snug. Very uncomfortable for me . Quick pictures before i send them back . Classics, but I personally feel for $150 we deserve a lot better.

those look nice but the grey/whites are better to me but with all new retros you have to get an extra or a better insole thats for sure especially if you will be in them for a while.
