same question. i dont know anywhere tat carried the OG. i htink the OG were boutique release only. plats GR and triple blacks were NikeLab.I think the Pure Plats are a GR. It does not appear to be very limited afaik. I went to a local mall yesterdayFor those of you in the US, which stores carried the "OG" colorway?
Was the Pure Plats more of a GR?
Just realized you have Hattie on your avatar. We did a photo shoot years ago before she became huge in social media
.
They certainly are two different types of comfort, and I understand why people say you shouldn't compare the two, but the comparions are going to happen regardless as both shoes serve practically the same purposes. Freddy and Jason are two different types of horror characters, but they are constantly compared because they serve the same purpose...to scare you. With that out of the way, it all comes down to what type of comfort you prefer...ultra boost/pure boost are more squishy compared to the vapormax's more firm feel. I have almost every boost variation and I find myself enjoying the more firm comfort of the vapormax's....not to mention they feel way lighter to me as well. Hope this helps and I highly recommend going to try them on first.
Plats wide...OG nike stores, snkrs, snd some boutiques, Triple blacks nikelab and most tier 0 accounts.same question. i dont know anywhere tat carried the OG. i htink the OG were boutique release only. plats GR and triple blacks were NikeLab.
Can you give a comparison if you have both
Yikes lolThis is becoming the boost thread.
No problem man! Hopefully your local ftl and fnl will get more in for you to try on.Makes sense, thanks for the explanation. I plan on getting them but was scared to just blindly order then without trying them on. Niether FTL nor FNL local to me has them for me to try on
One is sweet, tart, and firm with a nice ride. The other is sweet, full of life, and squishy.give us a comparison of apples and oranges first.
I see on the european Nike webiste an Asphalt CW who will be release april 27th.Any idea on a RD for these?
TTS or not ?Same Knit as every Flyknit? Wrong
The Vapormax Knit is very stretchy in the toebox unlike the FKR
There are also 50 other Knit iterations that are different
youll know when its there if your platinum pair skyrockets to 350$ lolThis is becoming the boost thread.
TTS or not ?
I wear usually US11 in AM1 and I'm hesitating between US11 and US11.5 fot Vapormax.
WHhich one is better ?
ThanksI went TTS because .5 up was too long. At first the were a little snug in the midfoot but once i had it on foot for a little it stretched nicely to be more of a firm fitting sock type feel (reminded me of FKR in that sense)
The toebox is very stretchy which is nice (unlike FKR)
Provides both support and comfort which is awesome
Yes I did.Anyone receive shipping confirmation from SNKRS?
totally agree, sometimes i prefer it more firm with lunarlon or air unit. the ultraboost is comfortable no doubt, but sometimes its too "squishy".

TTS is definitely the way to go for Vapormax. Was able to pick up the Triple Blacks at NikeLab yesterday. As some have already said, not meant to be a Boost killer. Firm ride, extremely light and comfortable. Can't wait to see what other colorways they drop.
Well I have a few different versions of these Apples which is nice. Personally I prefer the green ones because I like more or a tart vs the classic red which tend to be more sweet. Sometimes though I like to switch it up and go with a yellow. Nice for when you wanna flip the script on these mf's
Now Oranges... those are gonna be more of a citrus type vibe. The one complaint I have is the peeling process and how you get the scent all over your hands which also tends to be pretty sticky. Once you get past all that though they are fantastic. If the peeling process is really an issue for you there is always the option to go with the Orange cousin the Clementine
All in all both the Apple and the Orange are great but you really can't compare them directly to eachother
Not gonna lie, I ******* died reading this.
Actually it's the AM1 thread from the last month. I was curious where everyone from that thread had gone so I looked for this thread. Pulled up the last page and who do I see? Mr Hypebeast himself @BradleySupreme. It amazes how people literally jump from hype product to hype product on a weekly basis. They don't even know what they like, they just know what's hyped so that's what they want. This is becoming the boost thread.
