Looking like an English class with all these essays of dudes being mad.
There's no "the" shoe, there's going to be numerous shoes. And they're likely going to be GR's in most cases.kanye said something's dropping in sept
maybe the shoe, maybe not
im just REALLY curious to see how his designs turn out bc i hate adidas for the most part
never bought a pair , cant even recall a pair i wanted except when i was younger i really liked the pro models
and i hope his shoes are a lot more y-3, and a lot less 2 chainz / big sean / asap (the ones he wears) joints
Just like he's going to make education available to the masses through his fashion line? You can find him saying one thing and then the complete opposite on just about every subject cause he's a maniac. Clearly right now he's pushing his "for the masses" agenda, but there's plenty of examples of him contradicting himself in the past. Kanye is just about whatever makes him look and feel most important, and Nike not giving him a shoe deal certainly didn't fit his current agenda or appeal to his ego.Pretty sure you need to go back and listen to the interview again. He's been saying he wants to create high quality goods that are available to the masses for quite some time now.
Dope pics.Promised photos last week from while I still had them in my possession. Still think my favorite part of this shoe is the tongue. Well either that or the bright red glow from the sole.
I wasn't arguing anything... simply proposing a question. A question that obviously made you very upset.
Handmade art that can never be duplicated, with only one single example existing on the planet ≠ "Limited" sweatshop sneakers with 3000+ existing on the planet. The fact someone would even allude to such an absurd notion is a prime example of just how delusional people are when it comes to this shoe.
not upset in the slightest... don't mistake my thorough retort as emotion, it's just logic.
the fake advocates just make no sense to me. go find a cheaper hobby if you can't afford authentic shoes.
the way you presented your question made it sound like you're one of them.
and it's not a far off comparison. but i was more talking about how art can be duplicated (don't know why you think it can't, fakes get passed off real and sold all the time in the art world), faked, printed, etc... yet the hardcore collectors gun for the original, authentic, piece.
you can take that out of context and call me crazy to support your crap if you want, but end of the day you know the point i was making.
you basically said that people who are hardcore collectors who pay top dollar for the ACTUAL REAL shoe, are idiots.
that's you assuming way too much about people's own finances and what they can and can't afford, and also subjective, cuz just cuz having the real thing doesn't matter to you, doesn't mean it doesn't matter to them.
but maybe if you left it there, i'd have not replied.
but to imply that people who spend hundreds on fakes are less idiots is HILARIOUS...
they spent all that money and still don't even have the shoe. and they'll prolly fall apart quickly.
how are you an idiot for paying $3K for these anyways? when you can wear them, take care of them, and possibly sell them for an actual profit in a couple or few years?
i spent $1350 on my solars, have worn them, and can now sell them for over $2K if i wanted to...
picccssss
Does anyone see Kanye using a variation of the Yeezy designs w/ Adidas?
Nah, I'm asking if anyone thinks he'll do that. I probably should've re-worded lol.picccssss

There was never a 6.5K listing on FC. Their starting quote was $6K. Yesterday an 11 sold for $5500 and a 12 for $6000. Today a 14 sold for $5750 in less than a half hour. I've been keeping an eye on it, and the average selling price on FC has been close to $5800 spread across 9 pairs sold (not counting anything that sold off the site and can't be seen). People can list at whatever they want, and some dudes have a price in mind and are setting it to get that price quickly. That's how it works.noticed that FC consignees are coming down from their 6-6.5K price range. Down around the 5 range. One for 4.5K.
Sellers what have you sold your pair for?
Trying to get a median valuation for trading purposes.

But I would not take the FC/high end market for the personal sale channel price, which seems to still be floating between $3-4K depending upon your size. Those 14's went awfully quick cause no one has been seeing those. Just like size 8. Size 11 seems to have sold the most on FC (3/9 pairs).
Just copped some VNDS Plats for $600...
Yay me.
