pg 195. Educate yourself young man..
He oversold a ton more tickets then he claimed. For instance he may open a raffle for Royal 1s (back when resale was $500 and below) and charge $5 / ticket for 50 tickets... In fact he did this several times. That only adds up to $250.
Of course a lot of people would pay the $5 since Royals are highly sought after. On Tuesday he'd be like ok 10 spots left. Then id go and tell a bunch of people and they'd but a spot. Then Wednesday he'd be like just a few spots remain... And I was like hold up I know 6 guys bought a ticket yesterday and one of them bought two. How could nobody else in the world have bought the remaining 3?
And he'd do this and drag it on and on grabbing $5 from each person.
When you questioned him and asked how he could get them for only $250 (since he got whatever size you were from online) he'd threaten to refund you.
I was naive and just kept believing it was legit like everyone else did.. What screwed him the most was his last Yeezy raffle (he hasn't done one since I believe).
The picking of the winner is legit .... (Well for most of them..) he uses random.org. Sami was "randomly picked" for Zens. We now know that's bs. Sami was picked because he had a lot of followers and was doing some feature in complex's online article and he name dropped krispy2kicks.
Completely fake raffle that many (including me) paid into. So I guess I own part of Sami's Yeezys
.
Back to the straw that broke the camels back- He does a Yeezy raffle for like $35 a ticket and 100 spots. I buy 3 tickets and advertise it on twitter and here. He drags it on for like 2 weeks at least.
He says just a few spots left for like a week straight. Anyway he never shows the full list of entries going into random.org (so buyers could validate there name is there or not) but people like me and others are onto him. So he keeps saying "you don't have to enter the raffle" as his argument. And RT's a bunch of butt-kissers who call his raffle legit.
Anyway here's the catch he said it you entered the raffle you'd have a chance to enter the RO raffle he was having after the drawing of this raffle. But only if you entered this Yeezy raffle could you buy a ticket......
Now hold up. If I buy a ticket to this raffle for Y1 and Y2's available at the time what makes him so sure I'm going to spend another 30-40 dollars on a RO raffle? What if only 25 people want a ticket? He's charging them $175 each for a ticket?? Who's paying that?
Didn't make sense. Probably because he accepted 500 entries at $34 and he puts in his 8 buddies who paid into random.org and 2 random people. And then RT's everyone who was like "saw my name in top 10"
Well yeah... But show us a video of you putting all 100 names into random.org.
Anyway long story longer i asked for a refund.. Which is allowable. He boasts that he allows for refunds before the drawing.
If he only took 100 entries then who was going to get those 3 that opened up? Since I had paid about $100 for three spots. Well he felt the pressure of the followers wanting more proof that there were only 100 entries taken and all names go into random.org and it's only randomized once etc etc. he left those 3 spots blank, did the drawing, and hasn't done a raffle since.
In fact he barely tweets anymore.
Edit: even further proof at the stupidity was the thought that he was doing it all for free. 100 entries at $35 for a pair of DS solars doesn't leave much room for profit
