Congrats!FINALLY scored a VNDS pair of Plats to end the Y2 saga..
I think plats are much much better construction than the ro.
Not realistic at all.If I was to buy some Red Octobers in a size 13 deadstock for $4k how realistic will it be to resell them for $6k?

For what it's worth, I dropped my size 10.5 off at FC two weeks after release for $5500...by then, the market was already flooded and a bunch of sellers reduced their prices to sell quicker. As a result, you saw FC prices dropping to as low as $4000. Seems like the market is drying up, or people are going to FC because of all the fakes/scams out there now. My pair finally sold this past weekend for $5000.If I was to buy some Red Octobers in a size 13 deadstock for $4k how realistic will it be to resell them for $6k?
RE: Flight Club and reselling market...we're still very fresh into the reselling cycle...but these are an enigma.
It's been what...2 months since release? Go look at any other shoe that dropped about 2 months ago and see what they're selling for on eBay due to the flooded market. Resell prices are ALWAYS sloped. High after release, then flatline a few months out, then back up after pairs dry up. Pairs are drying up slower than your average retro or Lebron because of asking prices. You either had to sell REALLY quick, or wait quite a while to see the $6,000 price hit frequently.
I still think it's the safest best if you're still trying to unload a pair. I was one of the lucky ones who just happened to be on the phone and grab a pair. I just grabbed a random size (11.5) due to rushing and panicking after realizing the release was real, and sent them to FC after hearing the horror stories here. Trying to trade for something in a different size was impossible, especially in a small town.
Mine sold @ the $6,000 mark, but they were the first 11.5 they received (just checked, they still don't have any in stock, must have been a harder size to get) and caught it at the right moment. Normally, this would be a perfect time for buyers on the resale market, because pairs haven't dried up, and sellers are usually starting to get antsy about now (I can't count how many times I've kicked myself for not getting Royals for $300, WC 88s for $275, etc.), but with these it seems most people aren't budging on price. Couple that with the huge amounts of fakes, and you have what we have...sellers stuck with shoes they can't sell, and buyers scrambling trying to find a decent deal.
See my post above yours. As long as sellers aren't in a rush to cash out, which is what caused FC prices to drop in the first place (as they had tons of pairs), prices will eventually go back up. My size 10.5 just sold this past weekend for $5,000 and their site has the next 10.5 up for $5500. In hindsight, I should have just left mine at $5500 as I wasn't in any rush to sell mine, but FC told me I had to lower mine to $5000 a few weeks ago because of all the sellers trying to cash out quickly by posting theirs cheaper than mine. For what it's worth, FC told me they anticipated the prices going back up again.

what are you basing that on?
have you held both in your hands and compared?
What are you talking about? Who said anything about a RO restock? Is the y2 restock another twitter deal?

I must have misread the post. I thought it was a surprise ro restock. Was an earlier post.
