Why are they called the Godzillas?

Barkley wore the air ballistic force in the Godzilla vs Barkley commercials, several years before these came out

The teeth on the sides look like Godzillas teeth and the Suns cw who had a Gorilla as a mascot.

Still have my 07 godzillas in somewhat decent condition or even better if i just cleaned em up. Will get it again this year.

07 quality is really nice imo. Thick padding around the shoe, thick tongue, etc

That traction and transition was dismal for hoopin in tho.
Joints were complete skates.

I hate that these and the uptempos are coming out on the same day, I grabbed the 180s last time and passed on the pippen's so this time I think I will grab both. As much as I love the 180s they don't hold up very well. I will wear the old model more and put the new pair on ice.
