Crazy how they try to rename and nickname shoes with names that don’t apply lol. Baltimore Ravens didn’t even exist when these dropped. They were still the Browns. He also was still in Atlanta when the OG’s dropped but I keep seeing people trying to rename them the “49ers” lmao.

This is why I didnt buy the retro. The wrong hues of the branding alone was enough for me to pass. Whew! these were a hot item in the streets back in 1996, amongst other shoes that were/are iconic.

So… I remember when these came out originally. Lots of kids in my school had em, but I was never able to get a pair. I did however get a pair with a strap, and the Nike football logo on the tongue. Was a mainly black colorway, with red hits. I can never find them on a google search. Anyone remember other models from back then?
