Just got my Be True pair in from NDC...they are nice in person contemplated the purchase but i seen them selling out on so before they did i went ahead and pulled the trigger, i could have always returned them if i aint like em but I'm gonna do a lil minor customization to them and rock em..... ill put pics when i finish

The most boring and plain shoe of the line, but looks like traction should be okay.  Much easier to put on than the 16 for sure haha.

Not gonna look at these twice with what else is on deck though.  KD9, CL Boost 16, Rose 7, Hyperdunk 16...

Well if it performs well and retails the same and then can be had on discount for $60-$70, it's not bad at all.

The '16s outperformed many of the shoes that is close to double it's price from the swoosh.

Yeah, I agree too. 16's were good.

The 17 just looks so plain.  Roshe-esque.  It better retail for like $110 based on what we're looking at.

Don't even get me started on Nike sig. lines and their "high-end" performance shoes.  In my opinion, they have been overpricing underwhelming shoes since around the Kobe VII.  The Kobe VI is the last Nike sig. that I think might have been worth paying retail and even then they pulled that met-bag crap.  From the VII and on, the Lebron line, the KD line, just a bunch of unremarkable and overpriced shoes to me.  Not saying there aren't good performers here and there, but overall, nothing is really memorable to me.

The Zoom BB Low at $90 stands to this day as my favorite Nike bball performer ever.

Every year so far, hyperrevs has been discounted and are up there with the best. I'm trying to play in the xx9 more and tell myself it's better than the rev 16 but I'm having a hard time. I like the rev 15 more than the Kobe 6 because of the upper. I'd cop the revs every year for $50-60 as long as they continue to be a sock like fit with good cushioning

I'll agree with the boring look of the 17's

Hm 17s are "boring" yeah very plain, but look like they might be good on court, which is all I care about. Are they lows? I can't really tell

Heres the little custom work i did to my Be True pair....removed the Be True on the sides to give it a cleaner look and painted the pink tabs on the tongue white

I saw the Rev 2017 could be just another team line separate from the hyperrev, I wonder

I hate those 2017's. Look like something that wouldve released back in '95
Even then they would be considered "plain"

That new outsole is kind of interesting but the upper looks like a cheap budget model. Ill stick with my 16s

XX9's are on my GOAT list.  Hyperrevs are solid, but I prefer the XX9 for sure.  Considering the price differential, they better be awesome, but I don't think the XX9's are anywhere near worth $225.  Hyperrevs are a much better overall value.

The 17 honestly looks like an afterthought.  Like from the designer's perspective, it seems more like "oh yeah and don't forget to throw together a Hyperrev 2017 when you get a chance" as opposed to "so how can we make the 17 the next step in this line of good performers?"  It looks like a no-BS performance shoe for sure, but it also looks like a $70 budget model.  Nothing wrong with that.

That is the plainest, crappiest looking design. What a disappointment after the 16's and its unique look. I was hoping to continue this line but not after that look. I will just stock up on the 15's and 16's for now. I like the Skylar ones; that marble-looking outsole is dope. I wanted to get the Beal PE's but couldn't in good faith pull the trigger being a Bulls fan. Still my favorite balling shoe of the year.
