Agreed. I guess we just disagree in body contact being a requirement. I bet if after the game in the locker room he said "he ain't really dunk on me though cus we didn't make contact", his teammates would be like sheeeeeyut fool you know he didthat's just how I think about it in my head
Getting posterized I think body contact is a requirement. Getting dunked on? I guess you can say if it was contested closely then sure. Its like when a guy goes up to contest a dunk but last second turns there body around or does a "half jump" cause he second guessed contesting it, technically yeah he just got dunked on. See where im going with this?

Posters that require the dunker to bump and power through a body infront of them is way more impressive imo.
Ja's poster was just the defender missing the swat with minimal, if any, contact.

Posters that require the dunker to bump and power through a body infront of them is way more impressive imo.
Ja's poster was just the defender missing the swat with minimal, if any, contact.
A 6’3 guard elevating over a big man who is at least 6 inches taller than him is just more impressive than Julius Randel playing bully ball on a weaker defender.
EYE am not saying the Randel dunk wasn’t a poster. It just wasn’t on the same level as the Ja dunk. Ja took off from further, cocked the ball back further, and dunked on a taller defender.

Because it was recent, so I figured it was more relevant .
Still, it's more impressive than Ja's, imo. The cockback from Ja's dunk just fools ya'll into thinking it's more impressive. It wasn't even that powerful of a dunk either.
Now, if Jalen Smith was actually infront of Ja and he pulled that dunk off, then that would've been a proper poster.
