If it's a shoe that looks visibly new*** I returned a used pair of trinities 3 months after that were used in door and I just cleaned the soles real quick with soap.

Good luck. Price matching with Nike after 14 days can be hit or miss. You may need to try multiple customer reps to get one that knows what they are doing.

Not surprised. I've had them tell me they want to price match, but can't. They then have told me to buy new shoes at the new price and send them back under the old order.
