They never made any ogs with the new mesh. All the ones showing up now are from the same stock if I'm not mistaken

That's what I keep telling myself after each pair I buy! I've got the Daring Reds (my daily), Camo, Blue Lagoon, and OG volts.  

How do you like the Persians?  I have to see them in person to decide if I like them.

I love them. Purple is more of a toned down purple with a hint of blue in it
