Jimmy didnt handle the situation great but to to be fair i think pat riley was even worse. Guy almost single handedly carried that team to two finals while banged up against much deeper eastern squads, then riley has the gall the publicly criticize his availability for regular season games (as well as throw him under the bus for the celtics series). On top of that wouldnt give him a max contract extension. I know the player empowerment era has gotten out of hand but i applaud jimmy for knowing his self worth, just shoulda been more discrete about itFall out and drama from Jimmy Butler situation. If he ever gets traded, his name should be a meme just like 'Karen'. Miami front office and the rest of the league will be cautious about signing future 'Jimmy's.
