Authentic AD came in from Lakers Store today. Side by side with Authentic Bron from NDC and they're night & day to me. Obviously the Wish patch (I have a Wish patch to put on my Bron as well, just haven't yet) but they also use a MUCH heaver tackle twill for the logo, numbers, and name. Makes the jersey a lot heavier, closer to the weight I'm used to from an authentic jersey. Also stitched swoosh which is lways a plus.

It’s cool that the Statement jerseys are getting the Jumpman logos on them, but aesthetically, I’d rather have the Swoosh there instead.

The logo and swoosh are all Nike made. just the name and number is custom. The twill used for the name and numbers also has a sheen that the ndc one doesn’t. Ultimately I don’t know which one is more authentic as I don’t know who does the player jerseys but I prefer the ndc one over the laker store one. The twill all matches on that one. The laker store one differs from the team logo twill.

take a look at these pics. You can see the numbers and name on the yellow has a metallic sheen. The white does not. The Nike made yellow also dont have that sheen.

In the same size, Swingman jerseys have a very boxy fit, while Authentics have more of an athletic fit.

when I wear sz M, it feels like how Bron wears his uniform - fitted and snug. While L is looser on me, sort of like how the 90s player wear their jersey.

I guess being athletic fit that the authentic is, would make better sense to get the sz M since it should look better fitted on me, yes?

I would go with the looser fit if you plan on wearing them casually. I used to buy a 40 authentic and 44 swingman (I didn’t like the small font on the size 40 swingman) and I found myself liking the looser 44’s in hot summer weather. Now I just buy the looser authentic. The 40 fits me fitted on the chest and under the armpits

But I'm trying to go old school 2K this Fall and rock a white tee under but the jersey arm makes it too snug and I tried a 52 but then it's too baggy. I thought about rocking it like some people with it over a hoody but I just feel weird doing that. Is there any magical tee's out there that work well with this Nike jersey cuts?

Once you own an Authentic, you’ll never want to go back to Swingman.

I wear a 40. For the swingman, I hate how the font and graphics are smaller. On the Authentics, the font sizes for the numbers and logo are sized just right.

yes there is. Compression tee, or uniqlo airism tee, both works fine.
