Goat pair from Japan touched down. Like everyone has said, these are dope. Distribution for these must have been a lot more accessible in Asia so take advantage of the supply coming from there now. These have a very similar toe box to the of the AMM 4.

As for people worried about fakes, I wouldn’t be. Everything that makes these special and different from regular jordan 4s, most of the better fakes get wrong. The rubber parts feel more like plastic than rubber on authentic pairs. Colors are off in the greens and the gum sole and the suede. The fakes use a more standard long haired suede on the toe which is lighter than a real pair. I’m sure there’s more but I havent had a chance to dig deeper than that yet. Honestly easiest thing to do if you don’t have a real pair is look at the box label. Rep box labels never have the same weighted font as authentic shoes so any jordan in your closet will be good to compare them too. Don’t believe the hype

I think it's mostly this. You can even check some of the Travis 1's and Union 4's on SD and you'll see they're anywhere from $150-$200 cheaper than US sites.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but once you jump up to these nearly $1k purchases, you're getting hit with tariffs, no? I'm skeptical a $900 shoe is going to end up costing $1100 after paying duties to get your package released.

So 99 out of 100 pairs on SD can be had for less than StockX and Goat. Not too shabby.

From my early examination, an easy way to spot a real pair Vs a fake pair is the suede on the toe. If the nap is super grainy and textured its fake. If it’s short haired and course it’s real. Authentic pair on the left

The real pair is my pair. And yes the back tab is definitely an indicator. It’s more like a more flexible version of the retail jordan 4 back tab, not rubbery like the authentic pair.

How’s step in comfort for the SB vs AMM? AMM were painful

I’m still on the outside looking in on these, debating on copping. I wish I could move my AMM+cash but prob will just need to buy em or miss out.

they fit like 2 completely different shoes To be honest. The AMM 4s were a tight TTS, that required a good 2-3 wears before breaking in to a clean fit (for me). I have only tried the SBs on so can’t speak to comfort in terms of wear, but no break in required to fit right out of the box
